The Cheesecake Lady comes to town

Just in time for the holidays, there's a new cake shop in town ... in Oakmont, to be exact. Dede Perkins, also known as “The Cheesecake Lady,” has relocated from Oregon to Oakmont. Perkins started The Cheesecake Lady in 1993, while living in a small town in Western Oregon. “I specialize in cheesecakes that are all real food (no fillers, binders or preservatives), made on your order and delivered to you in a box with a full ingredient label,” said Perkins. The Cheesecake Lady offers the basics, original vanilla, pumpkin and chocolate, as well as liquer- and fruit-based cheesecakes. Find her on Facebook at, email, or call 200-5797.
