Beethoven sonatas online
Valley of the Moon Music Festival Director Eric Zivian has mastered all 32 Beethoven sonatas for Beethoven's 250th birthday, a feat of endurance not unlike hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It is also a wonderful opportunity for the player and listener to explore the full range of Beethoven's style, and the emotion, humor, and spirituality of these treasures. Every Saturday at 10 a.m. a new installment will be broadcast on KSVY 91.3 FM radio and Sonoma Valley Television, SVTV 27. For one week following the televised broadcasts, the performances will also be available for streaming at valleyofthemoonmusicfestival.org/beethoven- sonatas/. Free.

Vintage House resumes small group classesThe county's Area Agency on Aging has given the go-ahead for senior centers to begin offering small group classes for up to 10 people. To err on the side of caution, Vintage House in Sonoma will host classes outdoors, with the possibility of some small group classes being held in its large Stone Hall which can easily accommodate social distancing. Bird-watching class will take place outside every Friday through October, 8-11 a.m. Other outdoor classes are being added, so make sure to check the website. Other virtual classes are ongoing, such as virtual yoga and French conversation.

Transcendence gala celebration  Transcendence Theatre Company's online Gala Celebration and fundraiser is Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m., and Sept. 12 and 13 at 2 p.m., a celebration featuring Broadway and popular musical hits executed by powerhouse vocalists, in the dazzling Jack London winery ruins. Symphony gala honors icons
The Santa Rosa Symphony will host a virtual gala honoring long-time Symphony icons Norma and Corrick Brown. The free event will stream online on Sept. 12, 6:30 p.m. and will include tributes from long-time friends of the Browns, a brief recital by Van Cliburn gold medal winner Olga Kern, and an opportunity to support the Symphony. Funds raised will go to the Symphony's many music education programs, which include in-school music curriculum and presentations, interactive performances at the Green Music Center for elementary school students, and afterschool social programs for underserved elementary school students.

Fiesta de Independencia!
Celebrate Latino Heritage Month virtually with a taste of Latin America in Sonoma County. Luther Burbank Center for the Arts and the Latino Advisory Council invites you to the 11th annual Fiesta de Independencia, presented in partnership with Redwood Credit Union. Cinnabar launches virtual theaterCinnabar Theater actors, staff and crew are ready to reveal their all-new streaming theater experience. First up: The Lady with All the Answers on select dates Sept. 18 through Oct. 4. This is a one-woman play about columnist Ann Landers written by David Rambo. A woman whose advice was read by devoted fans in over 1,000 papers across the country, Landers spent half a century giving advice to readers on issues previously only whispered about in public. Party for The Green
The Green Music Center hosts a virtual Party for The Green on Sept. 26, 6 p.m. The New Orleans theme includes music, food, and a cocktail party featuring pianist Jon Cleary appearing from his home in New Orleans. A party pack includes a three-course dinner from some of Sonoma County's top restaurants, a signature cocktail, bottle of bubbly, and decorations for your at-home party. All proceeds support Sonoma State University's Green Music Center and Sonoma Family Meal. Cost is $175 per person for the party pack and live virtual event, and $100 for the live event only (includes bubbly and party décor).
