The Sonoma Valley History Society’s general meeting will feature Dr. Charles Siebenthal, president of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad Historical Society. Siebenthal will speak on “Trains, Tourism and Sonoma County.” Although he focuses on areas closer to the coast, his talk will encompass the resorts, cabins, and beautiful natural resources which attracted San Franciscans from the mid-1870s on. The talk is on Friday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the Depot Park Museum, which is one block north of Sonoma Plaza. Admission is free. For further information, call 938-1762.
